- Provide technical web & database hosting for multiple states using CATALYST, a system used to monitor the delivery of population-based intervention and prevention of various chronic diseases. Services include technical and program support, training, documentation and system enhancement.
- Provide management consulting and technical guidance to implement successful use of CATALYST in multiple state organizations including Montana’s Tobacco Use Prevention Program and Kentucky’s Diabetes Prevention and Control Program.
- December 2007-June 2009 – Staff for Financial Literacy Public Private Partnership. Supported the education committee and coordinated a review of financial education curriculum.
- March 2008-June 2009 – Supported OSPI Mathematics Instructional Materials Review for grades K-12 and OSPI Science and Sexual Health Instructional Material (K-12) Reviews. Responsible for collecting all data for the review. Analyzed data in real time during review process to eliminate errors and review rating bias and errors. Supervised data entry staff. Assisted with post review data processing and final report statistical publishing.
- March/April 2007 – Supported the OSPI Mathematics Computational Fluency Supplemental Program Review. Developed a re-usable MS Access database, trained and supported users, and provided data monitoring and immediate system improvements during the curriculum review week.
- Develop web-based information systems, maintenance and support for WA Dept. of Health Tobacco Prevention and Control. Development of new SQL Server Reporting Services module for existing web system. Meet with clients and advise on emerging technical challenges.
- Develop commercial websites for local businesses including www.relevantstrategies.com, www.flppp.org, www.thesimplefool.com.

- Project manager and lead developer for County Rd. Admin. Board’s Mobility project. Assembled team for Starling’s first Microsoft .NET project. The successful client-server application is successfully deployed in over 35 counties in Washington State. Used: SQL Server 2000, VB.NET
- Lead web developer on the Dept. of Health project to monitor Tobacco Prevention and Control Activities statewide. The entirely web-based system allows contract mangers & contractors to manage work contracts and monitor their effectiveness with a flexible survey generation system. Used: SQL Server 2000, ASP and DHTML.
- Built web-based reports for a system used by the Dept. of Fish & Wildlife for tracking commercial fishing licenses. Work was primarily writing Sybase ASE Stored Procedures to handle large data sets. Used Apache/Tomcat, Sybase ASE, JSP, HTML.
- Led the effort to use DHTML to enhance web systems and replicate key client-server functionality. Created custom controls, mover box, tabbed pages, list detail control, AJAX functionality.
